Was this a planned "Judas Goat" and "Assassination" operation to take out Robert LaVoy Finicum?
1 - Offer a "carrot" as bait . . The Sheriff Glenn Palmer of Grant County offers a meeting to "settle"

2 - Set up a primary roadblock to stop the vehicle being driven by LaVoy Finicum. Federal Agents then shoot at vehicle which would prompt the driver to make the decision to "run for safety" (i.e. get to town) and also give the illusion that they have a clear shot as the roadblock was behind them.
3 - Set up a secondary "V Formation Wedge" roadblock in a blind curve so that LaVoy Finicum would not have time to brake to avoid collision but would be forced to either go left or go right into the snow drifts on either side of the road.
4 - Have agents in position on either side to "get in front of the vehicle" which would then justify the use of deadly force against the people in the vehicle.
5 - In order to safeguard the lives of the other people in the vehicle (including youths), LaVoy Finicum chose to move out of and away from the vehicle (thus drawing fire away from vehicle) and surrender with his hands up.
6 - When shot in abdomen, LaVoy Finicum instinctively reacts to put his hand on the wound. . . this "movement" further "justifies" lethal force by the Zio-Fed agents trained in "Comply or Die" tactics.
7 - Given that Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer was documented as being on the scene in full black riot gear holding a shotgun, we can determine that he had no intention of being at the meeting LaVoy Finicum and company were on their way to.

Sounds like a "Non Cooperative Game Theory" based assassination plan to me.
Staged event. Finicum drove perfectly in his lane, only moving to the center of the road before he got to the "blind curve". He already knew what was around the curve.
Perfect helicopter footage right up to the snowbank, then *oops* the vehicle is off camera ... a convenient time to edit and pick up the action again with the intention of CLEARLY showing Finicum being gunned down while his hands were over his head to create rage in the viewers.
Btw ... he did a perfect falldown in nice soft snow. If he fell like that on the road, I might think otherwise. Fake phony baloney!
And I'd like to note that this video is different from the one I saw this morning ... but this showed the same camera antics as the earlier one when Mr Finicum hit the snowbank!!! How strange ... ;)
I just good news . . if there can be such a thing in this tragedy . . concerning Grant County, Oregon Sheriff Glenn Palmer.
My on-the-ground source just sent me this:

He was actually at the meeting, which he didn't schedule, was just an attendee. A woman that's known him since second grade was standing next to him when he received a phone call. He face turned white and he hurriedly said, 'There's been a horrible tragedy, I have to leave.'
He left accompanied by the DA. When they arrived at the Ambush Site, it was announced that someone was approaching with a rifle. So he went to his car and got his. It was then identified that it was a photographer with his tripod. That's why the man next to him is laughing in the photo.
OregonLive got the photo then and put out the disinfo that he was part of the roadblock. Not so, as you can see. The candidate he's running against and the other sheriffs and officials hate him for being honest and standing up to them in their fiefdoms." -------------------------------------------------------------------
