But if there is nothing hated (strongly disliked), there cannot be anything loved (strongly liked), since you can't know if you love something unless you hate its opposite and vice versa, and you don't know what health is until you hate disease and you don't know what clean is until you hate filth, etc. Hate is just an involuntary emotion based on value judgments that are offended by the object of hatred. That which agrees with your values is consequently loved.
So, can there be tolerance without love which requires its opposite "hate" to even exist? Of course not. There is no tolerance without love and there is no kindness without someone who acts like your kind-red and your kind, has the same values as you, more or less.
