Syrian residents near a northern town say Daesh terrorists used to ship oil to Turkey when the town was under their control.
People living near the Jabisah oil field outside the town of Shaddadah say Daesh members sold the oil to Turkey in exchange for dollars and weapons. The oil field is one of the largest in Syria, capable of producing two-point-two million cubic meters of gas and 80-thousand barrels of oil per day. The oil field and the town of Shaddadah were under the control of Daesh for two years. They were liberated by Kurdish and Syrian forces in February. The Russian government has previously revealed footage, showing Daesh oil tankers heading from Syria to Turkey.
