Wow, this is sad and unexpected. He's not much older than myself.
I used to listen to John everyday until Sept 2018.The last show I listened to that year, his guest host Steve had a heart attack because a caller dared to call Aretha Franklin a racist bitch. Steve asked for proof and the caller, Miles from Maine, replied if you'll be quite I'll tell you. Steve got mad and they ended up cutting his sound with John's blessing. That was hour 2 September 5, 2018 at the 33:20 mark. https://www.republicbroadcastingarchives.org/the-national-intel-report-with-john-stadtmiller-september-5-2018-hour-2/
I listened to John once more earlier this year when Steve wasn't on. Steve was okay at first, but with each show that he did I started disliking him more and more.
Love you Mr Stadtmiller. I looked up to you as an uncle or a father even. Been listening to you for many many years. I was a fellow Round Rock area resident so I always felt very close. You will be sorely missed. We will see your dream forward. Rest in peace, Sir.
